1. Full Legal Name: East Homestead Community Development District
2. Public Purpose: To plan, finance, construct, operate, and maintain community-wide infrastructure

Established October 17, 2003, by Ordinance No. 03-209 granting those special powers to the CDD as set forth in Section 190.012(1) and Sections(2)(d) and (f), (except for powers regarding waste disposal) F.S. and Section 190.012(3) and approved by the City of Homestead Resolution No. R-2003-04-31 and Ordinance No. 18-126 expanding the borders effective November 2, 2018.

The District is located in Sections 15, 16 and 17, Township 57 South, Range 39 East, and is bounded on the west by S.W. 147th Avenue, on the north by the Canal C-103 Right-of-Way, on the east by S.W. 143rd Avenue, and on the south by S.W. 328th Street, completely within the City of Homestead in the eastern portion of Miami-Dade County in the State of Florida, and consists of approximately 435.13 acres.
Water management system improvements, off-site roadway improvements (SW 147th Avenue, SW 152nd Avenue), gas main relocation, public right of way entrance feature improvements and related improvements.
